Vinyasa Shred


Wednesday 6:15-7:15pm  

with Jen Mylett

A mix of Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Shred inspired HIIT (high intensity internal training) exercises.  Yoga warm up and cool downs will be practiced, but in this flow, HIIT movements will be added to get the blood flowing.  Be prepared to sweat and have fun. The class will also be very centered around breathing techniques that will  optimize the body, mind and spirit.

Start the weekend off with the Right Vibes. 

Vinyasa Flow style class where we will connect breath with movement. Moving our way through a mindful warm-up, connecting poses while flowing with our breath to a fun playlist and ending with a yummy cool down.  This class will  focus on peak poses to 

deepen your vinyasa yoga practice.

A yin yoga class is mainly a series of long-held, 

passive floor poses that work the lower part of the body, opening the  hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. The poses are held for five minutes or longer. Surrendering into longer holds fatigues muscles and encourages the body to let go and passively receive the pose and its benefits. Yin Yoga is an important slow, focused, relaxing, and quiet restorative class that compliments all fitness levels

Get into the groove with modern hip hop with a twist of sensual choreography and a fat burning workout all at the same time. You will learn the fundamentals of hip hop choreography, heel technique all while having fun and leaving inspired. Heels are recommended but definitely not required. Bellydance for Beginners

This beginning bellydance series is perfect for someone new to bellydance or a dancer wanting to strengthen their technique. We will learn foundation moves, shimmy and hip work, isolation's and shapes. Tahitian Dance

Shante' Higgins has 20 years of experience dancing Tahitian in shows and competitions.  At age 16 Shante' choreographed and produced the Tahitian Dance segment of her High Schools May Day Program .Her passion for Tahitian dancing as a student has evolved into a desire to share and teach others all that she's learned and experienced first hand as a dancer.

Enjoy a creative and athletic vinyasa flow to the rhythm of your own breath, the practice is grounded in intelligent anatomical  sequencing. On the surface a Shakti Flow class is full of high intensity cardio bouts, fun improv dance sets mixed with creative vinyasa flow, body weight strength training and breath work while loud motivating music infiltrates the room. Below what we can physically see, these movements are cleansing and opening our chakras, building solid foundations while nudging us to step out of our comfort zones and bring forth our divine feminine energy.
