Vinyasa Shred

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:15-7:15pm

A mix of Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Shred inspired HIIT (high intensity internal training) exercises.  Yoga warm up and cool downs will be practiced, but in this flow, HIIT movements will be added to get the blood flowing.  Be prepared to sweat and have fun. The class will also be very centered around breathing techniques that will  optimize the body, mind and spirit.

Yin Yoga

A yin yoga class is mainly a series of long-held, 

passive floor poses that work the lower part of the body, opening the  hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. The poses are held for five minutes or longer. Surrendering into longer holds fatigues muscles and encourages the body to let go and passively receive the pose and its benefits. Yin Yoga is an important restorative class that compliments all fitness levels.

On the surface a Shakti Flow class is full of high intensity cardio bouts, fun improv dance sets mixed with creative vinyasa flow, body weight strength training and breath work while loud motivating music infiltrates the room. Below what we can physically see, these movements are cleansing and opening our chakras, building solid foundations while nudging us to step out of our comfort zones. We re-emerge more  more aligned with our divine feminine energy.
